Machine Operator – 1st Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to03:30pm )
- Set up, load, and run production machines to meet daily output and quality targets
- Perform routine quality checks; document measurements and flag defects promptly
- Read job travelers, blueprints, or gauges to verify part specifications
- Safely move raw materials and finished goods—lift/carry up to 50lbs throughout the shift
- Keep work area organized; complete basic preventive maintenance and assist with changeovers
- Follow all safety policies, lock out/tag out procedures, and wear required PPE
Machine Operator – 1st Shift Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Prior manufacturing or machine tending experience preferred, but solid work history and mechanical aptitude accepted
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift heavy items for extended periods
- Comfortable using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
- Strong attendance record and willingness to learn new processes
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
