Grain Elevator
Our client is seeking a 1st Shift Weighmaster to work at their Grain Elevator in Winamac. This is a temporary position to assist with their harvest season and may last until the end of the year. Overtime is likely.

Grain Elevator Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to04:30pm )
- Responsible for the daily operations and workflow for the scale house at the site. This includes preparing and sampling the grain for moisture, damage and foreign material, and communicating with truck drivers/customers as needed.
- Communicate with the dump room operator to inform them of the type of incoming grain, and entering the correct information on CompuWeigh tickets for each truck.
Grain Elevator Qualifications:
- Must be able to work overtime during the busy harvest season. This could include late nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work in an environment that can be dusty at times.
- Must be able to work both inside and outside.
- Ability to read, react, demonstrate common sense, and endure long hours during harvest.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate information to managers, customers, and employees.
- Must be able to carry/lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and stand for the duration of the shift.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
